We love when people come and take photos on the site! We’re proud of our hard work keeping the gardens and grounds looking as lovely as they do and we hope that if you post them online that you tag us so that we can see our Similkameen oasis through your eyes.
We just ask that if someone is making money off the photos (either by being paid to take them, or because they’re selling them) that they obtain permission first and pay a small fee to help us keep the gardens and grounds photo-worthy.
Professional photography sessions must be booked a minimum of 7 days in advance and may not be accepted if they’ll conflict with other activities already planned on site. Click here for our rules and regulations for commercial photography on site.Below are the fees to bring a professional photographer to the site for your photo session.
Outdoor location: | $100 for the first hour, then *Venue rentals typically don’t have to pay any extra fees for photography during their event.* |
When the Grist Mill and Gardens is closed, special arrangements can be made to accommodate your photography session in both indoor and outdoor locations. Indoor locations must be pre-determined and are pending availability. An additional venue rental fee may apply to cover the costs of after-hours staffing.
Commercial use of photos and video taken during your visit are strictly prohibited without written permission from our management.
Drone use is permitted on site provided the operator has appropriate licensing and follows all NavCan regulations. We may revoke permission if the drone interferes with our operations or other visitor’s enjoyment of the site.
