On November 24th, from 6-9PM, join Chris Mathieson in the Grist Mill kitchen for an introduction to how to make a few simple cheeses from easily-available ingredients. Together, we’ll explore how good milk, bacterial cultures, acids, rennet and salt and be combined to make a multitude of different cheeses. Topics included in this session:

  • the basic science of cheesemaking
  • the key ingredients
  • the equipment needed
  • how to choose and source the best milk
