Kid’s Workshop: Stick Weaving

Join us as we work with Amanda from Forest Learning Tools and learn to make beautiful weavings incorporating natural materials.
This workshop is suitable for children of all ages, but children under 8 should be accompanied by an adult. (One adult can accompany multiple children, as necessary. Assisting adults are welcome at *no charge*.)

On Sept 23nd and 24th, the Grist Mill will be holding its 9th annual Heritage Fall Fair and there will be numerous categories of competition for youth. We’re hosting a series of after-school workshops before event to give kids a chance to spend some dedicated time on entries for some of the categories.
Each workshop runs from 3PM to 4:30PM and includes all the materials your child will need to create a masterpiece. They’re then welcome to leave their finished product here to be included in the exhibit categories on the day of the event.
All youth who attend one of these workshops and choose to enter their item into our Fall Fair will be given free admission to the event.
