Offsite: Penticton Seedy Sunday

Thirty-three years ago, our then-Head Interpreter, Sharon Rempel, founded a little something called “Seedy Saturday” that has since become an incredibly popular way, across Canada, to share seeds, knowledge and community. Since it was started in 1990, there have been well over a thousand events in communities all across the country. From a little seed, a great tree grows!

Come see us at the Penticton Seedy Saturday, organized by the Incredible Edible Penticton. It’s a great opportunity to buy or trade seeds and purchase plants from a variety of amazing vendors, as well as network with locals who love to garden. There will also be garden related workshops, and we’ll be there with our preserves and to talk about some of the heritage seed work we’re doing in 2023. If you’re in the area, please come by! Admission and parking are both free.
